Skill HIIT: Kicks & Clicks
Short circuits to improve Mobility, Strength and Technique for high kick moves! You can do as a whole repeating segments as time allows, utilise the first portion before dancing / training, or take out your favourite exercises for a quick finisher after a workout or class!
- Mobility & Activation:
- ~ Isometric Butt Kick / Knee Flexion | 5 x 5s (each side)
- ~ Isometric Hip Hinge | 5 x 5s (each side)
- ~ Knee Lift & Extend | 6 reps (each side)
- ~ Supine Leg Rotations | 10 reps
- ~ Lying Leg Kicks | 15 reps
- ~ Knee Drive Bridge | 10 reps
- Strength & Technique:
- ~ SL Hamstring Slide Outs | 8 - 12 reps
- ~ Hollow Hold Flutter Kicks | 20 - 30s
- ~ Dropped Hurdle Leg Lifts | 10 reps + 10s Hold
- ~ Isometric Leg Lower | 5 x 5s
- ~ (Band) Split Switches | 20 - 30s
