Skill HIIT: Jump Overs

This session made me realise I need to do varying levels of difficulty for this one! But here I go through several things that will massively help you gain the strength needed in relevant body parts, and build the ability to land and spring off the floor with ease… Would love to know if there were any things in particular you found tricky to do!

  • Mobility & Activation:
  • ~ Front Plane / SL RDL to Knee Lift & Extend
  • ~ SL Soleus Bridge
  • ~ Eccentric SL Heel Raise
  • 10 reps each exercise / each leg
  • Strength:
  • ~ Supine (up-facing) Hamstring Curl / Heel Pull
  • ~ Banded Knee Drive Bridge
  • ~ Banded Leg Extension w/ Leg Pull
  • 8 - 12 reps
  • Power:
  • ~ Ballistic Heel Raise | 10 reps
  • ~ Drop Step to SL Box Jump (or Tuck) | 6 reps
  • ~ Jump Split Squat | 8 - 12 reps
