5 Day Crossing Challenge: Day One!

Starting out the challenge with some insight into the compensations you MAY be making, and WHY they’re of detriment to other elements of your technique! We’ll then go through understanding how to cross properly, switching on the right muscles, and making sure they’re working as they should be!

    Key Points!

    • Crossover must come from your Hip (not your foot or your knee!)
    • Leg moves across, our hip doesn't turn forwards.
    • Feel the muscles on the inside of the leg working, and get familiar with the motion!
    • If activation / tightness is an issue, do some tension release work on the outside of your hip & glutes.
    • Think about 'cracking an egg' between the tops of your thighs!
